Opportunities to pursue a Ph.D. Thesis and Post-Doctoral training exist in the Rudy Lab.
Projects are in two areas:
1. Mathematical modeling and computer simulation of cardiac electrophysiology and arrhythmias (dynamics of ion-channel proteins, models of ion-channels currents, whole-cell action potential, excitation in the multi-cellular tissue).
2. Continued development of a novel noninvasive imaging modality for cardiac electrophysiology and arrhythmias (Electrocardiographic Imaging, ECGI) and its application in the study, diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias in patients.
